The Opportunity

We are looking for a Client Services Administrator who can provide sales and operations support as a member of our client service team. This individual must have experience with providing a high level of operational and client support, an assured professional presence and will report directly to the Manager of Client Services.

Responsibilities

  • Portfolio management.
  • Trading activity.
  • Preparation and maintenance of client financial plans to establish investment objectives.
  • Quarterly client reporting.
  • Responding to client requests.
  • Enhancing service standards.
  • Maintaining/planning schedules.
  • Setting up meetings.
  • Preparing correspondence.
  • Preparing marketing materials.
  • Preparing sales and marketing financial reports.
  • Preparing client wealth accumulation plans.
  • Financial analyses.
  • Other ad hoc reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (Business, Accounting or Finance preferred).
  • NASD Series 7, 63/65 or 66.
  • A Minimum of 2 years experience working in a brokerage, insurance or investment environment is required, preferably as a full service sales assistant, client service representative or in operations.
  • Investment advisory experience is a plus.

Job Skills

  • High level of proficiency required in Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Hands-on working knowledge of Pershing NetExchange Pro and/or Advent.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical, communication, organizational and presentation skills.
  • Independent worker and a self starter but also team-oriented.
  • General skills: phone skills, financial software, multi-tasking, customer service, thoroughness, informing others, handling pressure, reporting research results, attention to detail.

The candidate must be able to:

  • Learn quickly and understand complex information without difficulty.
  • Easily analyze complex verbal information and make reliable interpretations.
  • Utilize routine numerical information in their work and who may occasionally be required to perform more complex calculations.
  • Efficiently base their decisions on numerical data and communicate this data in easily understood formats.
