Philosophy
Our research team and Investment Committee has selected several Mutual Funds to be included on our Vestor Capital Mutual Fund Guidance List based on similarities to our investment philosophy and our value orientation style.
These funds are utilized for our families that currently have accounts in our Separately Managed Program or our ValuePlus Program, but may have additional accounts that, by the nature of their size, are better optimized using mutual funds instead of individual securities.
We limit exposure in any one fund to no more than 25% of the portfolio and we maintain a sufficient stable of mutual funds to meet the asset allocation needs of our clients. In addition, the Vestor Capital research department continually monitors these mutual funds just as they do the individual companies that make up our separately managed portfolios.
