Carolyn C. Barr

Carolyn joined Vestor Capital in 2017. She is the Chief Compliance Officer, responsible for the maintenance of all compliance policies and procedures. She leads internal and external audits and is the primary interface with regulatory entities. Carolyn also handles human resources matters.

Prior to joining Vestor Capital, Carolyn held compliance positions at Henderson Global Investors and Aon Hewitt Investment Consulting.

Carolyn holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Creighton University and an M.B.A. in Business Strategy from DePaul University. Carolyn is a member of the Chairmen’s Advisory Council of the Big Shoulders Fund, a charity providing support to Chicago Catholic schools with demonstrated need. Most recently, Carolyn and a group of her Vestor colleagues taught the Stock Market Class to an 8th grade class in the Ravenswood neighborhood. Carolyn enjoys cooking, reading, and cheering on her three young children in various sports and activities.
