James A. Grossman

Jim joined Vestor Capital in 2015 as a Senior Research Analyst. He contributes to the firm’s research efforts, helping to navigate and capitalize on investment opportunities across the company’s product lineup.

Before joining Vestor Capital, Jim served as the Vice President, Technology Markets at Detwiler Fenton & Company in Boston, where he provided research on a variety of technology companies. He also worked for Thrivent Asset Management, in Appleton WI, as a Portfolio Manager/Senior Research Analyst and for Monetta Financial Services in Wheaton, IL as Research Analyst. Jim earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Economics from Elmhurst College.

Outside of the office, Jim serves on the School Advisory Board for the St. John of the Cross Parish School in Western Springs. He also spends much of his free time keeping up with his four children, running and golfing when possible.
