Stephen is a Wealth Management Advisor for Vestor Capital. He holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) and the Uniform Combined State Law Examination (Series 66). He has been in the financial services industry since he graduated in 2010 from the University of Dayton with a B.S. (Bachelor of Science degree) in Accounting and Finance. At the University of Dayton, Stephen also played on the Flyers Baseball team for all four years and was involved with Student Government.
Stephen started his financial services career at Mesirow Financial in the Compensation and Executive Benefits department where he obtained his knowledge of investments and retirement planning. In 2022, Stephen joined Vestor capital as a Wealth Management Advisor after 9 years at Merrill Lynch. Stephen has built his practice on developing a personal relationship with each individual, family, or business owner and using sound judgment, objective advice, hard work and integrity in assisting his clients to reach their financial goals.
Stephen and his wife, Chapin, live in the north shore of Chicago with their two sons. Stephen is involved as an associate board member for his family’s foundation, The Daniel Murphy Scholarship Foundation, raising money for underprivileged children to attend private high schools around the country. He also supports Camp Hope of Illinois, a five-day recreational and residential summer camp for teenagers and young adults with developmental disabilities. In his free time Stephen enjoys golfing, tennis, skiing, and biking.
